Coincidentially, three years ago, on July 14, 2011, the Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, and Respectful (FAIR) Act was signed into law in California, ending the exclusion of LGBTQ history in California schools. On an earlier edition of OutCasting, we spoke about the law with its sponsor, Cal. State Sen. Mark Leno.
