Covid-19 note:  Because of the pandemic, we temporarily closed our studio in March 2020 and began working at home starting.  As of October 2021, we have re-opened the studio.  We're thrilled to be working together in person again!

We invite you to join OutCasting as a youth participant!  If you fill out this application, you're not obligated in any way; this is just the first step in a conversation we can continue by phone to talk about the possibility of your joining OutCasting.

Age:  Over the years, we have had OutCasters of middle school, high school, and college ages.

Orientation/identity:  You can identify with any sexual orientation or gender identity, including straight ally, but you must be supportive of the fight for LGBTQ+ equality.

This online application is secure and confidential.  Once we receive it, we'll reach out to you, normally by e-mail or text, to schedule a phone call.

Please have a look at our short video for prospective new OutCasters.  You can also get more information here.

You do not have to have previous experience — we will teach you what you need to know — but if you do have relevant experience, great!  We'll talk about that on the phone.

Thanks!  We look forward to receiving your application and, we hope, working with you at OutCasting.

In the form below, a red character indicates a required response.

If you have a school email account, please don't enter it here; these accounts often reject outside communication, including emails from us, so please enter your personal address (gmail or whatever you have).
The permission form identifies OutCasting as LGBTQ media but says that the program is staffed by LGBTQ youth and straight allies.
