Covid-19 note:  Because of the pandemic, we are in hybrid mode — holding production sessions mainly in our studio but online if needed.

We invite you to join OutCasting as a youth participant!

Filling out this application doesn't obligate you in any way; it's just the first step in a conversation we can continue by phone to talk about the possibility of your joining OutCasting.

Watch our four minute video showing what it's like for students to work at OutCasting.  You can also get more information here.

Who can join OutCasting?

Age:  Over the years, we have had OutCasters of middle school, high school, and college ages.

Orientation/identity:  You can identify with any sexual orientation or gender identity, including straight ally, but you must be supportive of the fight for LGBTQ+ equality.

Next steps:

You do not have to have previous experience — we will teach you what you need to know — but if you do have relevant experience, great!  We'll talk about that on the phone.

This online application is secure and confidential.  Once we receive it, we'll reach out to you, normally by e-mail or text, to schedule a phone call.

Thanks!  We look forward to receiving your application and, we hope, working with you at OutCasting.

If you have a school email account, please don't enter it here; these accounts often reject outside communication, including emails from us, so please enter your personal address (gmail or whatever you have).
The permission form identifies OutCasting as LGBTQ media but says that the program is staffed by LGBTQ youth and straight allies.
